Shipping policy
Order Fulfillment
All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped that will include tracking information (as applicable).
We're a small batch business and we do our best to have your order fulfilled as quickly as possible. Each product you see in The Peridot Pig's Personalized Gifts and Business Branding catalog is made on-demand. Once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. We're doing our best to get your orders out on time, but during these unprecedented times delays can happen. We work with production partners and shipping carriers who are seeing industry-wide disruptions because of the COVID-19 impacts.
The fulfillment times for our printed products, including direct-to-garment (DTG), embroidery, and all-over print items, are within the 2–7 business day timeframe. Mugs are now fulfilled within the standard 2–5 business days. The estimate for canvas has improved to 3–8 business days, and we'll soon return back to normal in all categories. Some orders might be delayed because of apparel industry stock issues.
While we're certainly happy about eCommerce booming, it doesn't come without its struggles. Shipping carriers are tackling the large number of incoming orders, and millions of shipments have been stuck in distribution centers, leading to industry-wide shipping delays and your orders possibly being late.
Note that the tracking links also take longer than usual to update. The overload of shipments in distribution centers means carriers are slower to register and ship your orders. Sometimes the tracking info won’t change for over a week until the item is scanned, or even up to the point of delivery. For example, we have orders that were handed over to a carrier on December 3rd, but were scanned by them only on December 10th. Know that your orders aren't lost - they are still being processed by the carriers. We're hoping that the new year brings a ton of improvements with shipping!
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Items originating from the US:
There are various calculated and flat rates for standard delivery to the US.
Orders outside of the continental US will have a selection of flat and carrier calculated rates.
Exception items will have the shipping charges calculated and displayed at checkout. An additional $10 packaging fee is added to the cost.
Items originating from China:
Standard shipping (15 -45 working days) is free.
Expedited shipping (5-15 working days) is $26.50.
Local Delivery
We currently do not offer local delivery service.
Local Pickup
We currently do not offer a local pickup service. If you are in the NE Ohio region and want to pick up a large or fragile item, please contact us ahead of your order. We'll do our best to work out an arrangement.
International Shipping
We currently do not offer international shipping but we hope to expand later in 2021.
Items Originating in Foreign Countries
For US customers, if your order exceeds $800 USD in goods from a foreign country, you may be subject to US import duties and taxes which are incurred once a shipment reaches the US. The Peridot Pig is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. If you are planning to make a large order, please contact us first.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number (if applicable) that you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
Where is my order?
If your item(s) originate from the US and you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@ThePeridotPig.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
If your item(s) originate from outside the US (some jewelry items) and you haven't received your order within 4 weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@ThePeridotPig.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. International tracking information for the order appears within 3 - 7 days after the order is shipped by the supplier. 17 Track is the recommended site to check your status.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
Only USPS will ship to a P.O. Box in the US. Any USPS mail class can be sent to a P.O. box, even if it requires a signature. If it does, a notice will be left inside the post office box for the customer to pick up the mail or package at a designated USPS location within a certain number of days.
Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@theperidotpig.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
